Handmade
Frith, as a young mother of two boys, joined a group of women learning to make slippers. She loved the slippers that she came home with, so made slippers for the rest of her family. No family member can bear to be without a pair of these slippers. They are one of the first items we all pack when going away - even on camping trips.
Fast forward a decade or three .....
From selling slippers at craft markets to taking orders from friends, and finally during Covid the rest of the family also joining in to assist with production.
That's where we are today. The family homestead business continues with the two grannies, Frith and Dee, now making the slippers.

Fast forward a few years, and everybody got slippers for Christmas, she started
taking orders at a local market. She did this for many years with her boys playing
under the stall table.
Fast forward a decade or two and her hands started to take strain from all the
cutting, punching and stitching so her now extended family, started helping to fill
orders.
